Zee Ann Poerio, a third grade teacher at St. Louise de Marillac school in Pittsburgh has been recognized by the WalMart family of stores in a national program of support for education. The national electronics retailer Best Buy has recognized Pittsburgh teacher Zee Ann Poerio for her innovative use of ancient coins in teaching the Classics. Poerio received a $2,500 te@ch award for the purchase of items to be used in her classroom programs. Full story
