ACCG filings continue in Baltimore Court

Filings continue in the ACCG Forfeiture Hearing.

The ACCG has filed a reply memorandum in support of its motion for reconsideration of the Court’s order striking its Amended Answer.   It discusses new Supreme Court case law and old legislative history that should be dispositive in favor of the Guild’s position that the government bears the initial burden of proof on where property subject to forfeiture was “first discovered.”   A copy of the government’s opposition memorandum can be found HERE and a copy of the Guild’s reply can be found HERE
