The Ancient Coin Collectors Guild has become a driving force in the ongoing effort to protect coin collectors and museums in which coins are stored from being forced to give up these items to foreign governments under the premise the coins are the cultural patrimony of the claimant nation. — Richard Giedroyc, World Coin News April 26, 2010

PNNA becomes ACCG Affiliate

The ACCG welcomes the Pacific Northwest Numismatic Association as an Affiliate Member.

February 01, 2005

The Pacific Northwest Numismatic Association is a regional organization for numismatists -- "The objects and purposes of this association are to promote, extend, and protect the interests of numismatists and numismatic activities throughout the Pacific Northwest (Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, British Columbia, Alberta, Yukon Territory, Northwest Territories, and Alaska) and to foster and encourage the study of numismatics in all its forms." In addition to maintaining an informational web site, the PNNA publishes a quarterly newsletter, holds an annual convention, and promotes numismatics through special programs, activities and awards such as National Coin Week awards for clubs and the numismatic display at the Puyallup Fair each September.

The PNNA sponsors two scholarships to the ANA summer seminar, one for an adult and one for a Young Numismatist. ACCG warmly welcomes the PNNA as an Affiliate Member and supporter of the guild.
